After getting kicked out of her rock band, Nomi reluctantly takes a job at the Jewish summer camp she attended as a child, which is now run by her best friend Mara. She is tasked with supervising a group of teenage outcasts: the “Floaters.”

When a neighboring camp — run by her arch-enemy Daniel — announces a competition with prize money, Nomi takes things too far to compete with the rival camp and loses Mara’s trust. To save the camp, Nomi and the Floaters must overcome their differences and rise to the occasion together.

With plenty of humor and emotion, this heartwarming comedy by Rachel Israel tells a story of friendship, belonging, and the search for one’s own identity — while also painting a colorful picture of modern Jewish life.
