Set in British Mandate Palestine, this historical thriller tells a story of forbidden love and political escalation. In Tel Aviv in 1938, the British administration is trying to control tensions between the Jewish and Palestinian populations on the eve of World War II. British police officer Thomas Wilkin lives there — and is in love with Shoshana, the daughter of a co-founder of the Zionist labor movement.

While the Irgun, a paramilitary underground organization led by Avraham Stern, wages an armed struggle against the Mandate authorities, Wilkin and his superior escalate their crackdown. Shoshana finds herself caught between the fronts: her relationship with the police officer Wilkin subjects her to threats, while the independence of her people is also dear to her heart. In the end, she must choose between love and her political convictions.
